An old city-owned lodge building is the new home for Colour
Factory, a Winchester-based consortium of artists. Moving from cramped
retail-type premises, the new ‘Lodge’ will provide studios,
gallery, education centre and self-contained resident artist accommodation.
Phase 1 has been funded by the Colour Factory and WCC, whilst the
larger scheme is awaiting Art Council funding.
